Neil commenced his career in the Casino industry as a Croupier in 1984 in Wrest Point Casino, a Federal Hotel Operation in Hobart Tasmania, Australia. Neil progressed through to Senior Management positions in various roles during his career.
Neil is highly regarded in the gaming industry in Australia. With over 33 years of in depth experience he is a specialist in the Asian Junket Market. Neil has a broad international network and his expertise lies in gaming development and operations, Asian marketing and casino management.
Neil transferred to Darwin Casino in the Northern Territory, Australia and was involved with first Asian groups to visit Australian casinos.
In 1985 Neil joined Conrad Hilton Hotel Casino on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia – Casino Games Supervisor.
In 1986 Neil joined Burswood Casino in Perth Western and was soon promoted to Pit Boss. Neil was involved with Implementation for player tracking systems and accountability. Assisted with the introduction of ‘Non Negotiable Chip play’ and ‘Differential Betting’ on Baccarat.
Neil joined Casinos of Austria group Prague Czech Republic as Casino Manager of three Casinos under the Casinos of Austria banner with multi currency gaming tables at each of their Casinos.
Neil joined Genting Star Cruises casino ships out of Singapore and Hong Kong – Star Aquarius, Star Virgo as Casino Manager. Neil managed casino operations deemed as one of the largest ‘floating casinos’ in the world at the time.
In 1995 Neil was recruited by Conrad Hilton Hotels Treasury Casino in Brisbane Australia and was part of the preopening team to setup and operate this 100+ table games operation.
-Neil moved back to Czech and joined Trans World Gaming Casino on the boarder of the Czech Republic and Germany in the capacity of Casino Manager and Head of Marketing
Upon Neil’s return to Australia, Neil joined International All Sports Australia ain the capacity of Marketing Executive. Neil travelled to Asia regularly to open up the market to Asian gamblers.
Crown Melbourne Australia approached Neil to join the International Marketing department as Manager of international Business Development – direct marketing in Asia and hosting guests on the property.
Most recently, Neil was the Senior Vice President of International Business for a period of 13 years at Crown Casino in Perth Western Australia. He was responsible for all aspects of this business unit, from Business Planning, Executive Presentation, Business Development, Direct Marketing, Gaming Operations, Events Planning and Execution.
Neil has enhanced player development through product and services, involved with project management and managing teams in both gaming and international development.
Neil brings a wealth of knowledge with operational budgets, casino event management catering to very specific customer requirements.
Neil has casino operational knowledge, human resources, recruitment processes and implementation of various training modules that enhanced services offered to broad spectrum of customer cultures. This lead to Neil managing one of the first premium International operation department designated to providing bespoke experiences in a challenging market.
